1.31.22 - "Shelter in Places" - John Torres Album - 2.22.22 Release Date!

On February 22, 2022 John Torres will release his 3rd official studio album entitled “Shelter in Places.” The album comes almost 9 years after Torres’ last album (the 2013 self-titled album) was released.

In the interim since the last release, Torres has most recently collaborated on the now award winning musical theater adaptation of the 1979 Clint Eastwood film Bronco Billy. Torres, along with co-composers Chip Rosenbloom and Michele Brourman won a 2019 LA Stage Alliance Ovation award for Best Original Musical Composition.

Additionally, in 2017, Torres co-founded the Indie-Folk band Towers of Temple City, whose music has found a growing audience and was featured on the popular YouTube series Sailing La Vagabonda.

“Shelter in Places” was written entirely during the pandemic, and with the exception of a few additional Instrumentalists on three of the tracks, Torres wrote, performed, mixed and mastered the entire album himself.
